Eligibility

Users must be at least 13 years old to use this website in accordance with Discord’s Terms of Service and applicable platform requirements.

Acceptable Use

You must use the site and associated services in a lawful and respectful manner. Prohibited behavior includes harassment, cheating, abuse of systems, sharing of private information, any activity that violates platform rules, disrupts the normal operation, security, or fairness of the service, or violates the Terms of Service of platforms used by this website (such as Roblox or Discord).

System Administrators may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for violations of these Terms, suspected violations, or for operational, security, or safety reasons at their discretion.

Account Security

Authentication is provided via Discord OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. We are not liable for unauthorized access due to compromised third-party accounts.

We are not responsible for the actions, availability, or policies of third-party platforms, including Discord.

Content, Submissions & Intellectual Property

Any information you submit (applications, forum posts, or other contributions) may be stored and used to provide the service. By submitting content you grant DHS a non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content as necessary for service operation.

Ownership: The DHS project and its maintainers retain ownership of all website and bot source code, assets, designs, and related intellectual property unless explicitly stated otherwise. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish the code or assets without prior written permission from the project owners.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

DHS staff retain full discretion in enforcing these Terms, including issuing warnings, suspensions, or bans to maintain system integrity and community safety.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DHS and its maintainers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, service interruptions, or unauthorized access.

This project ("DHS") is an independent community roleplay initiative and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the United States Department of Homeland Security or any government agency. The name "DHS" is used solely for fictional and community identification purposes within this project.

No official government services are provided through this platform.

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be posted here. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
